Mental Health Awareness Week

These events are part of Highlighting the Hutt, a series of community events in the lead-up to HighLight: Carnival of Lights this Labour Weekend, 20-23 October.

HighLighting the Hutt is also about celebrating the Lower Hutt community during Mental Health Awareness Week (9-15 October).  Being active and connected to community are two of the five Ways to Wellbeing recommended by the Mental Health Foundation.  Another is giving back.  YouthLine Wellington are the official charity of Highlighting the Hutt.  They’ve been looking after young people in the Wellington Region for 46 years.

Both of these organisations offer help and support to anyone needing it.
