THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE HIGHLIGHT 2017 A BIG SUCCESS

And we mean BIG.

We expected around 30,000 visitors over the four days of the carnival and
were absolutely blown away to have that number quadrupled with more than
120,000 people attending the event.

Thank you to the community.

A driving focus for us from the start was making the event open to the whole
community. We’re proud that the event was completely free to attend, and this
will continue.

We also want to thank you for the support you gave to our charity partner
Alzheimers Wellington. Together with our wonderful partners, over $20,000
was raised for dementia support in the region. Hopefully, like us you were
inspired by the stories of New Zealanders touched by dementia that you heard
at Affi nity.

Hutt was essential to making this happen. HighLight would not be possible

As the human face of HighLight, your hard work ensured a safe and fun
carnival. You adapted when it was clear that the audience was far larger than
we anticipated, and kept everything running as smoothly as possible.
To those who left their feedback on our website and Facebook page, we’re
listening and excited to share our plans for HighLight 2018. The incredible
support you’ve given this event inspires us and ensures that next year we can
return bigger, better and brighter!
